"SOMALIA;THE UNCERTAIN FUTURE"

Last Saturday, one of my best buddies invited our whole "gang" to sleep over his house since his parents are outstation for two days.At that moment, our eyes were "gleaming" with excitement, thinking about the fun that we are going to indulge in(need I remind you that we are still bachelors). But,that Saturday night turned out to be a meaningful moment for me.After watching the latest movie in town,Captain America (man,Chris Evans have a nice body there),my pal,Mark showed us a video clip shot by  his uncle during a voluntarian mission to Somalia.

The only thing I knew was,no one uttered a single word while watching the video.Somalia,a "popular" nation thanks to the endless war and the atrocious violence perpetrated by some culprits. The scenario is still evident now in Somalia. If anyone would ask me to describe about this poor country,I could only say that"it is a nation plunged into devastating destitution".Although paramount efforts were taken previously by many concerned parties, especially the mass media,by revealling the status quo there to the global community, ironically all those efforts proved to be futile.Recently,United Nations brought up the the issue of famine in Somalia.Famine is rife there, and consequently killing many mere human beings, most notably, children who suffer from starvation. In this Ramadan month, where the Muslims call it a "fasting month",ordinary people are devastated there in Somalia due to the lack of hygiene, safety and food.

But,the fact is,globally, many are being oblivious and less grateful with their lives.According to a research, tonnes and tonnes of food are being wasted annually by us.If we could channel those food to those in Somalia and also other struggling nations, inevitably we could become the saviour of the lives of many.People, think about it!Even though we are incapable of helping these people,we should somehow think rationally and lets stop immediately from wasting food.If you are able to help these unfortunate people, anywhere, please do your significant part. And the utmost important task lies in the hands of the world's "big shots".United Nations,World Health Organisation,America,Britain and others should fuel in the essential efforts as a counter-attack formula for this problem.Rather than merely wasting cash in useless wars, these reputable parties should lead a crusade against this predicament, not only in Somalia but also in other nations.
